These also can be used as a continuous process by using lasers or cameras in conjunction with feedback loops. There are also statistical methods like poka-yoke (basically a machine that stops a product from being defective), and statistical process control. Quality assurance is important for international trade, and is recognized as such by the World Trade Organization. Quality assurance has been a key factor in many sectors, including health care and manufacturing.
 
How to Implement Quality Assurance in Your Production Processes
 
QA also makes sure that the product is manufactured in the right way. There are many steps in quality assurance, but they all have one thing in common: they are all done before the production starts.
